Policy on Sewer and Water Repairs

All work is time and material. Approximate cost for one hole, in yard with no
obstructions or major problems, replacing 5’-12’ of pipe –
$2,000.00 to $2,300.00. These prices reflect a minimum labor charge of 5
hours per man for one spot repair.

Approximate cost to replace sewer from the front of house to city stub-up to
40 feet – $3,000.00 to $3,500.00. Replacement costs are figured at one day (8
hours labor per man). On the small percentage of homes that have the sewer
exiting from the rear, wrapping around to the street, add approximately
$800.00 – $1,200.00.

The above costs do not include landscape repair, shrub removal or
replacement, sod removal or replacement; unless agreed upon before starting
project. No guarantee on shrub or sod survival.

Obstructions, including but not limited to; sidewalks, trees, driveways,
hydrants, frost, groundwater, gas lines, power and communication cables, and
irrigation systems will increase cost.

Sewer repair in city street:
8’ – 13’ depth at main – approximately $3,000.00
13’ – 15’ depth at main – approximately $3,500.00
15’ – 18’ depth at main – approximately $7,000.00

Work in city streets that takes place between November through March will
have an increase in cost. Permit costs vary from city to city for street
openings and may add to costs.
